Bahamas Combat Academy, formerly known as Fightsports Bahamas and previously a training association under the Gracie Academy of Torrance, California, has been part of the Bahamian martial arts community since 1995.
BCA is the oldest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu academy in The Bahamas and has developed a strong lineage of instructors and competitive athletes.
Our coaching team includes multiple black belts and certified wrestling coaches, allowing students to receive highly technical instruction in a personalized training environment.
PERSONALIZED INSTRUCTION
Most BCA classes are taught by two or more experienced instructors, allowing coaches to provide individual attention, technical corrections, and guidance throughout the class.
We believe that quality coaching isn’t simply about teaching techniques. It’s about understanding each student’s goals and helping them progress.
OLYMPIC WRESTLING DEVELOPMENT
BCA serves as the official training center for the Bahamas National Olympic Wrestling Team.
Our wrestling program supports athletes pursuing competitive opportunities at the national and international levels, while also introducing younger students to the fundamentals of wrestling.
